Public Procurement & Public Law
Hellström’s specialist group in public procurement and public law has extensive experience, providing legal advice to clients in both the private and public sector. We are regularly recruited by listed companies and leading actors across a wide range of industries, as well as some of the country’s largest contracting authorities and units. The group´s work is led by lawyer Ponthus Andersson and a team of highly skilled lawyers, who collectively have many years of experience handling cases and matters concerning authorities, administrative courts, and courts of appeal.
We assist our clients in all phases of the procurement process. We often become involved at an early stage of the process, for example, to assist our clients in the preparation of the authority´s procurement documents or the supplier´s tender. In more extensive and complex procurements, we can assist as an integral part of the supplier´s tender group or support the contracting authority with practical and strategic advice. We also frequently represent our clients by acting as counsel in review processes.
We strive to provide expert legal advice to municipal, regional, and state authorities and companies in matters concerning administrative law, municipal and regional competence, and public access to information and secrecy.
